How To Dry Your Hair Extensions

If you are wearing a method such as micro ring hair extensions, nano ring hair extensions, tape hair extensions or weft hair extensions, then you can allow your hair to air dry slightly before blow drying.

How To Dry Your Hair Extensions

Making sure you have parted your hair in a position you are happy with, begin blow drying your hair extensions on a low heat setting, focusing on the roots first. If you prefer to section your hair when blow drying this is fine, you just need to be sure not to catch those bonds or weft track with the clips.

In order to get the most out of your hair extensions, you should ensure that your hair is fully dry before styling further. Applying direct heat from a hair straightener when the hair is still damp exposes the hair to excessive heat which can cause damage to the hair’s structure, so its a big no no.

Washing and drying your hair is considered a styling activity, therefore the less you do this the better condition your hair will stay. We would recommend limiting your hair washing to 2-3 times a week, and air drying wherever possible .
